walking around a winter wonderland

Well, it wasn't quite "wintery" yet, but it was still really nice to take pictures. My right hand (ungloved) was in a LOT of pain though. But after seeing my work, I feel that it was worth it.

This was my first shot of the night. It made me optimistic of the rest of the photo shoot.

I am REALLY happy with this camera though. These pictures aren't bad. I would get more creative, if it wasn't so cold out.



The first year they put this out, I thought it was adorable. I already have a photo op idea for when I have kids. I hope I remember it by then. Also, I wonder who reads these letters. Or if they actually do. The Jaycees put the decorations up, so they are probably plastered while they go through these letters to Santa.



Stairway to the falls was closed. Well it's not like I was going to go down there anyway.
