melt bar & grilled

we woke up really late saturday morning (11am), but that was bc we were up til 4am.

Me: i want some eggs! (dippy-do, of course)

Jimmy: i want some pancakes

Me: we made them all, you'd have to go buy more. :/

so about 30 minutes later we both finally crawl out of bed and he suggests we go to Melt Bar & Grilled for brunch. uh...YEAH!

we get there and we order our food, then i realize.....our anniversary tradition [and you know how i LOVE love love traditions] is to go to a restaurant that neither of us have ever been to. we TOTALLY forgot about our tradition and subconsciously did it anyway! whew. that could have screwed us up. haha i had planned to make dinner that night, so i'm sure if we were going out to dinner, we would have remembered it, while trying to think of a place to go.
it was about a 45 min wait, so we decided to sit over on the wall next to the bar [bc the bar was packed too]. well you're literally up against the wall. but it has this cool painting all over it of famous and infamous people (mostly from the cleveland area). i have no idea who this dude is, but he was right in front of me.

i was just shutter-happy about using my camera
yum! so i ordered the Tokyo Tuna Melt [asian marinated grilled yellowfin steak, ginger wasabi dressing, lettuce, tomato, muenster] YUM YUM YUM, jimmy had the Sweet & Smokey Steak Burger [grilled flank. caramel port onions, smoked gouda] they were both to die for.
