ya know what really puts out my fire?so my husband & i are putting up xmas lights. i'm so excited. we get everything all situated, plug in the lights and "BOOOOOOO" only half of the strand works! WTF!?!?! this really sucks, not to mention that it is like 12º outside with a windchill of about 3º. ok....no biggie. i've the patience to get thru this. i go to the store and exchange the lights as well as buy new lights for other parts of the house.
we plug them in BEFORE we unravel. SWEET! 2 for 2! we start getting to work. YAY! looks cool. i'm so giddy, i can hardly control myself. plug 'er in. WTF!?!?!?!?!?! out of 200 lights, about 50 work. jimmy starts doing the "throw crap & kick shit." i start laughing bc all i can think of is "national lampoon's xmas vacation" & "the 12 pains of xmas"
then i start quoting the movie and singing the song...
"now why the hell are they blinking?"

I've always laughed when i hear that song. It was not until it actually happened to me that i felt the true ANGER associated with the F***ING lights not working!!!
