oh gawd! it's that time of year again...YAY!!

and DAMNIT it's 46° outside.

eye color fascinating

so we were doing a project in class where the kids needed to know their eye color. what the heck color are my eyes? they are so weird!!!!! and while we are on that subject, how does eye color work? i know that makes no sense, but in my head it does. i can't explain what i mean. like how does the iris fill with color and why isn't it uniform all the way around? i know the color of your eyes are determined by heredity, but how the heck did i get my color? my mom has light blue eyes and my dad's are a VERY dark brown. mine are kinda green, except for the one that's half blue. wtf is that?

project 101 fairview update

so here's the thing:

we are in the house, but of course, we aren't close to being done. we got those huge dirt mounds out of our yard and grass seed laid down. i told jimmy, "crap, now we can't hide stuff behind those dirt mounds." like me, when i want to sit outside. speaking of which, i'm looking into getting a fence for the Bell side of the house. if anyone has any ideas of an inexpensive place to get white durable vinyl fencing let us know. i REALLY want some privacy, since i don't have a backyard.

last night we went out to my grandparents' house to get THE MONSTER (elliptical). jimmy and i got it outta the house safely. and he and my dad got it into the red room. YAY!!!! now i just need to organize everything in there how i want and PRESTO CHANGE-O we have a workout room!!!! i'm really excited for that! hope the Monster held up during the move.

So there are a few pictures that i still want to hang up and then i'm off to find some cool artwork to hang.

the guest bedroom is pretty much a dump all spot right now. as soon as our attic goes into effect, i'll be able to clear that out a little better.

blossom is this weekend- yippie... so who knows what is gonna happen "house-wise" i don't really feel like attending blossom, but i really want to get some cool photos. dangit.

HEY ST- my aunt susie and cowboy bill are coming up friday!!!! i'm really excited to see them. lots o laughter in my near future. wish you could get your butt up here!!!!

tonight i have volleyball at Scorchers. my friend becky, who i haven't seen since last year's blossom is gonna meet me there. so that'll be fun.

my mom's birthday is friday!
