busy silly. So far I have spent 3 days working on the house, while Jimmy tiled my parents' laundry room floor. He did a great job. Hmm.....My laundry room needs a new floor......But I want Nature Stone in there. :)
Anyway, back to my work. The "Red Room" is NOW completely clear of clutter. It looks so big in there! All we have to do is slap a new coat of paint on it. I have a color in mind, but unfortunately we have to prime the room first. Ugh. I hate painting, but I have a feeling I am going to be REALLY happy when it's done. Last night, I sat in one of the chairs & read a book while sipping on some tea that Jimmy made for me. Daisy and Oakley both squeezed on the chair with me. Yay! The room is being used!!!!
Today, I worked in the office. I was DREADING that room!!! There is so much shit in there. Yes, I said shit. But it's good shit! I DID, however, finish with 2 full garbage bags! Yay me! I should have taken before & after photos. DUH!!!! ugh! I can't believe that I didn't think of that. I think I will be less stressed when I go into those rooms now.
We just have to make sure they stay that way. That's the tough part. And I have to try my HARDEST to NOT let the kitchen counter, Island, and table get cluttered during the week as well.
NO MORE SETTING STUFF DOWN & WALKING AWAY! Things need to either go in there spots or be thrown out!
There are only a few more things on our list for the week. So, let's get them done!!!
p.s. today was gorgeous outside- go figure.
