It's snowing this morning. I thought the rule was that It was supposed to stop after Christmas. HAHA. I wouldn't mind but it's about 20º out & with the windchill, it has to be about 10º.

I woke up this morning to find snow ALL OVER the yard. :/ The sun is out though! Score!

So Erin & I decided to trek it to Aurora Farms for some shopping. We were back to our old immature selves in less than 4 minutes. We laughed so hard, we cried. We stopped in the perfume store & sprayed the worst smelling perfume on ourselves. Then we decided to go into a shoe store & there...sitting with a "spotlight" on them were the Cloud 9 shoes. Nine West's version of the Shape-ups. We just had to try them on. You feel & look like you have some sort of special need when you wear them. I like the Easy Tones, but these & the Shape-ups look like they need velcro instead of laces. The lady working there kept asking us if we needed help bc we were being REALLY obnoxious. Maybe mental help! Get these horrible looking things off of our feet! We put them away quickly & flew out the store. Onward to the Yankee Candle store. If you thought we were immature & annoying in the Nine West store---boy you needed to see us smelling the candles for 40 minutes in THIS store! We were so loud, too. oops. I love how we have been friends since I moved here in 6th grade & we are still just as immature. Proof that I will never grow up. ......mentally.



I couldn't even take the pictures right, bc I was laughing so hard I was shaking.

One day we went out to lunch with Jimmy to Umami. DE.LIC.IOUS! Jimmy ordered this really cool tea. Then we went back to our house for the Home Alone movies & dinner.

It's the new year, and I wanted to start it off right with backing up my hard drive onto my external hard drive. I like to transfer all of my pictures. WELL, my plan was to do that tonight. Then my mom called me begging me to go to the stupid football banquet with her. Little did we know, it was going to be 3.5 hours long!!!!!! This was their 3rd banquet this year & it STILL lasted 3.5 hours! Are you serious?!! Yes, unfortunately, I am.

I have a freelance photo op tomo, so I'd really like to clean up my space.

my back is killing me from sitting in that chair for that long!!

Christmas 2010

I was going to post my Christmas Eve pix tonight, but I'm really tired. So here is our tree. We didn't put any ornaments on it this year, bc of our new kitten. I would find him sitting in the tree. Tomorrow & Tuesday look kind of busy, too. So hopefully I will get to blog the pix Wednesday!

Sad to see it go, but after 2 years, it was time to say goodbye to the fireplace that Jimmy built me. When we remodeled our house, we had to get rid of our fireplace to expand the kitchen & the master bedroom. I was worried that Santa wouldn't be able to give me gifts, so Jimmy built this out of cardboard & some wood. It was great for laughs & conversation started, but after Cooper played around with it, the inside started to curl. Then Oakley would sometimes do the same. I hope they don't miss it. haha

We also started the year off by saying goodbye to the Beheading moveable paper sculpture thingy. Jimmy purchased this at the Greek Fest & then put it together. It actually worked: you turn the knob & the guy chops the other guy's head off. It was also complete with rats at the bottom. Most....Random.....Thing.....Ever.

Now on to building other things!

Even day 2 of 2011 is good! It's so sunny out! If I wasn't so tired, I'd take the Duke for a walk. Unfortunately, I'm going to take a shower then probably go back to sleep.

Everyone around me is sick with either the flu, bronchitis, or a bad cold. So I'm staying away & curling up on the couch. hehe

2010: You were good to me, but I can't wait to experience 2011!!!

Last night, we made a few stops then ended up at Robbie & Sarah's. We were there until 3:30AM!!!! Needless to say, we slept in today. Yet, we still got a lot done. All of the Christmas stuff is packed in the attic waiting for next year! [except the mini trees- they have to de-ice]

So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing....

Well, we survived all 6 Christmas get-togethers! I love the day after Christmas as well bc it's when I like to go shopping. All of the beautiful wrapping paper & stuff is on sale! And it's a good thing, bc I ran out of my Christmas paper, finally after 2 years.

Today.....more shopping.

That was quick. Christmas has come & gone. I can't believe how fast the year has gone by.

EEEEEEE's in town!

Jimmy & I spent the day with Erin yesterday! We had so much fun. My abs & cheeks hurt from laughing so much. We went out to Umami for lunch, then came back to our place to watch Home Alone & Home Alone 2. (and ate some dinner) Seriously, when she is around there really is non-stop laughter! It's great! We're already planning a trip to go visit her next year in Chicago! As soon as it warms up of course, that way we can tour the city!

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Day. This year has flown by so quickly. I know everyone says that when you get older time flies by. Honestly, they were ALL telling the truth. Every year goes by faster than the last. It's kinda sad. I also wonder why that is. Questions that will never truly be answered...

Christmas #2

We had dinner @ Jeanne & Ed's. They made a giant 3 course Italian meal. I could never survive in Italy & I can put a lot of food down! It was delicious as usual & Ed already had a tupperware filled with homemade italian soup waiting for me. mmm. They also made their own noodles for the past portion.

So that's 2 Christmas' down. Only 4 more to go!

Daisy @ The Field

We took Daisy to The Field before she went in to the groomer's. It's so calming there, and she loves to run free. She is such a great dog, bc if she notices that she has gotten too far ahead of us- she looks back like, "are ya'll coming?" Or if she is oblivious, we will say, "Hey Daisy! Hold up." And she waits until she is within about 15 feet.



We keep her on her leash until we are a good enough distance away from the parking lot. Or for her safety, if we see another dog.
