HA!

I got so wrapped up in things that I forgot about Photo Booth. Thanks for reminding me, Whitney. I needed the laugh after the 2 bad dreams I had last night.
Here I am, if I was a little person.
or what if I had an identical twin sister.
Oh, I hope I have identical twin girls someday.
Here I am after drinking a lot of wine.
don't i look.....hot.....haha
my halloween costume.
I went as Tyra Banks
hmm....that actually gives me an idea for next year.
I was Quasimodo in the school play last week.
This a girl I graduated with. Her name is Annie.
That is her brother with long hair.

Happy Hanukkah, Marv!

There should be some picture updates soon! Supposedly, my lens will be delivered tomo! I can't wait to take some pictures. Not too sure what I will be able to take a picture of yet, but I will have fun shooting away!

subbing...

WooHoo! I'm subbing at the HS & MS today. Right now I have 2 classes of computer graphics & my internet actually works here! sweet. Then I have 2 MS art classes to deal with. Yuck. Most of my class is now working on playing games on the computer. haha. BUT some of them are actually working on their projects. It's funny. There is a hag in here who is the mother of some douche I graduated with. She TOTALLY hates me. And has NO IDEA wtf she is doing. She is an aide for one of the students. So, she keeps asking other students how to do stuff instead of asking me. And none of them can help her. Ha! She could just grow up and ask me how to get things done. They are using photoshop. I work with that program almost everyday.

I'm glad that there is school today, so I can make some dough. Especially since we ordered my new lens for Christmas. :)

Who is super excited for that? ME!!!!!!

xmas cards

Ha! I like the fact that Jimmy finally feels how I feel about Christmas cards. Why should we send out holiday cards to people who don't send any? I know a few people on our list that have never sent out a card, yet he still insists on giving them one. Where is the fairness is that? I know Christmas is the time for giving and blah blah bullshit. BUT, I don't believe that rule applies when it comes to holiday cards. Give to who give to you. Done.

We do like putting together our card every year. We like to bring smiles to people's faces when they open it to see how ridiculous we are. I agree the price of a stamp is lame. I spent $35 just on stamps alone. So yes, the total costs of this year's card was $52. I get it, sending out cards costs money. But it does bring happiness to people when they receive one.

I think next year, I wont consult him on who gets one. I'll just base it off of who has given us one in the past & that's it.

snow day! :)

Yay! Had another snow day today! It was fun, too! Jimmy & went shopping, then came home to go back out for some more! Nicole, Whitney & I went to the movies & Scott & Jimmy hung out. Then we all had some hot cocoa at our house. The only thing missing was building snowmen. Hopefully tomo will be a snow day, too. We can build one then.

I am scheduled to work tomo, which is why I DON'T want there to be a snow day, but I AM REALLY tired, so if there is one, eh. I won't be too mad. haha

Hope everyone got a chance to go play out in the snow today!!!!

So after we got home from the gym today, we were trying to decide what to do. "I wanna make cookies!" sweet- Jimmy agreed with the plan! So we made the following cookies:

1) Pumpkin, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip cookies
2) Oatmeal, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip cookies
3) The Classic: Spritz

All pretty damn good. And for dinner: Salmon [with a delicious sauce I randomly invented] & sweet potatoes. mmm...

It was a hard loss. And everyone agrees that having private schools & public schools competing in the state championship is pretty bush. I keep overhearing students talking at school about how they think it was the coaches' fault for calling crappy plays. The hand-offs & runs up the middle were not effective against this team. I heard one football player saying they should have thrown the ball to mikey & spencer. that was the only time they could gain lots of yardage. oh well. it is what it is & it's awesome that they went to states 2 years in a row!!!!!

Light Writer.

Not to be confused with Knight Rider.
It's a Light Fart. {I'm really mature}

I don't think this one says anything. It just looks really cool!!!

I definitely want to do more of these. Just have to find the time.

Snow Day!

Woo HOO! We didn't have a snow day today. I was actually rooting for school to be in session, bc I had a sub job lined up. I got to teach foods & child development. In foods, they made those peanut butter cookies with the hershey kisses in the center. In the other class, they worked on these book projects. It would be a cool project if you had a good topic. They have to make a children's book. The one group's topic was something about the Gateway to Learning (ages 2-5)....blah blah boring. good luck with that.

I also had to monitor a few 7th grade boys (can't stand that age) while they were working on their history project on the computer. I felt bad for the 1 kid who wanted to actually finish the project, while the other 2 losers kept singing "cleveland rocks" and writing that all over their project. The project is on Ancient China.....

I wanted to get up and punch-a-punk, but I refrained and just sat their holding my breath & counting back from 10.

damnit

yes, I spell "dammit" the way it should be spelled.....DAMNIT! and I really F-in' mean it. Oakley was super nice & cuddly. He has one guest play rough with him & now he is a F*@#ing asshole! WTFF!?!?!

I'm so pissed that I want to throw him against the wall, bc he's useless now.

He apparently thinks that fingers are chew toys, which I was trying REALLY hard to train him NOT to do. Guess when I have people over, I will just have to keep him locked up. So he doesn't learn bad habits & become a complete dick.

It really only pisses me off bc he really was the nicest kitten. Just like Cooper. He only became a dick bc some people provoked him, so he didn't like strangers or being pet. thanks a lot. I was putting in a lot of effort to keep Oakley from doing that. Guess some people just don't care & think that pinning your kitten down & poking him is playing. no. it just makes the cat a complete asshole. but whatever.

walking around a winter wonderland

Well, it wasn't quite "wintery" yet, but it was still really nice to take pictures. My right hand (ungloved) was in a LOT of pain though. But after seeing my work, I feel that it was worth it.
took these through a window...obviously.

This was my first shot of the night. It made me optimistic of the rest of the photo shoot.

The lights look better in person.

Photobucket

I am REALLY happy with this camera though. These pictures aren't bad. I would get more creative, if it wasn't so cold out.

Photobucket

The first year they put this out, I thought it was adorable. I already have a photo op idea for when I have kids. I hope I remember it by then. Also, I wonder who reads these letters. Or if they actually do. The Jaycees put the decorations up, so they are probably plastered while they go through these letters to Santa.

Stairway to the falls was closed. Well it's not like I was going to go down there anyway.
