Why is there a fall leaf during the summer?????

Jeanne likes to put labels on EVERYTHING, so at Courtney's grad party, I put this sign down for her. It was a hit. Even Jimmy's grandpa laughed!!!

I was waiting for Caden to go to sleep and instead of getting something productive done, I decided to work on Photoshop. Here is what I came up with. Obviously, I didn't have much time to play around....





But it was fun anyway! I have a new project idea coming up!! It's not like I have the time to do it, but whatever.

This summer's weather has been so unbelievably crappy! All it does is rain. It's actually very depressing. I want to be outside in the sun. But no, I'm stuck inside watching the puddles build up on the patio....

A Day with Grandma...

I took Caden out to see my Grandma today. We went out to Amish Country (Mespo) to go to their General Store. We were going to go to the Cheese Factory, but we figured that we would do that on a different day.



A shout out to BW! How random is that? What's even MORE random is that my mom & Mikey are at BW today....Weird.



She thought these little colanders were handy.



It's a good thing, I have a soft-spoken voice. I said, "OH wow! Look at that really old toilet {or in my accent: TOE-let}. Oh, wait. That's a scale. drrrrr."





What's more creepier than dolls on shelves? Amish dolls on shelves. *shudder*

This was great. My grandma said, "Oh Kristine, look. They have those whoopie cushions." I laughed. Then she said, "You know. You sit on them and they sound like you made a whoopie! HAHA!"

HAHAHA! I love how she explained what they are to me.

So after the general store, we went back to her place and had lunch. I told her that I would like to go to Papa's gravesite sometime. I haven't been there yet and it's been 8 yrs since he passed. So we got to talking about him and we are going to go next week. Then it was off to Walshart for some errands. We were in the baby aisle and she said she HAD to buy Caden this really cute onesie. Then right after we put it in the buggy and went to the next aisle, there was a FRICKIN DIME ON THE GROUND!


ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! I know you all know my Dime Story, so I'm sure you can imagine the chills that went through my body. "Holy CRAP Grandma! LOOK! A DIME!" She looks at me and smiled, "Grandpap is saying hi." I replied, "or he is telling me that the onesie is from him, too!" hehe.

Wow. Amazing. I love it. That truly made my day. It was like I was spending the day with both of them and didn't even know it. Very cool.

new bathroom

Yes, I realize this bathroom has been done for awhile now. But sometimes life throws stuff {birthing a child} at ya and you get sidetracked. Jimmy & his dad re-did our guest bathroom. They did a great job! Of course I don't have a finished shot of it yet. But I will definitely get on it!


I love the look of the tile I picked out, but I wish I would have known that suction cups don't stick to it. Now we can't hang up the kids' toys or my razor. Oh well

Happy Birthday Jake!

This place is so good!!!! We went here for Jake's birthday. Jimmy, Caden & I sort of crashed his party. hehe



His bowl cost more than mine & Jimmy's put together!



mmm! I made: Strawberry/kiwi sorbet & NY Cheesecake frozen yogurt with fresh mangos, strawberries, kiwi, sprinkles, and a cherry on top!

I HAVE to go back. That was so friggin' delicious!



Caden wasn't so lucky. He only got to drink some yucky formula. blah!

GaRage SaLe

Friday went well. We had a bunch of people. Saturday was BEAUTIFUL! Perfect day for a sale. We had about 5 customers. Luckily the kids were here to entertain us! :)



James had his own setup. It was great. He sold a bag of candy & a bartending book.










Haha. James has Molly on a leash already!



He even hogtied her in 8 seconds



I asked them to take a nice picture and James picks some flowers and hands them to Molly. Her face is priceless. It was great!!!



She let me french braid her hair.





After the sale we went in town, had a picnic then walked through Art by the Falls. Molly just wanted to hang out some more with James. It was really cute.
