we had a birthday dinner for jimmy @ scott & whitney's. That way he thought we celebrated his birthday. hehe little did he know.....

We played Laser Tag and for those who didn't they went to our house.

So after the LT, we went to our house & surprised him AGAIN!

It was awesome! We had such a blast.

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS....

okay...it's starting to feel really cold out!!! I went out looking for parts to my costume & the stores have Christmas stuff out! I don't just mean, in a little section of the store. I mean WAY OUT. haha. As Halloween is quickly approaching, I'm actually excited to see Xmas stuff. I love that time of the year, it makes me all cheery. So bring it out!

what a week!

I really don't even want to sum it up! It was FILLED! Too much has happened this week & to top it off, I can't do the Halloween costume that I REALLY REALLY wanted to do. It's whatever, i guess....

So I came up with another idea. It sucks, but oh well. This Halloween will probably blow anyway, so my costume might as well fit the mood. :)

The Out of Nowhere Storm...

It was another beautiful day! Jimmy & I were driving around with the convertible top down. I didn't even need a jacket, that's how nice it was. We came out of a store and saw this in front of us....seriously....where the hell did that come from? since it was so nice out, we had the windows open at our house, and we, of course, weren't anywhere near our house.

Oakley's Day Out

Oakley has never been outside, at least not running around in the grass. He is always crying to go out, so since it was GORGEOUS out, I decided to let him roam. He was sooooo hard to take a picture of. He didn't stay still for more than half a second. And when he did, he had his back to me.



Daisy had a great time chasing him all over the backyard. Then she ran over to me, smiling. So cute.

He rolled over for a cute little photo op. Playing with Daisy.

The Corn Maze

We did the Long Maze (3.4 miles) first, following the map below to each checkpoint. You're supposed to follow the lines, not the space in between. It was actually really easy. So when we went thru the Short Maze (2.2 miles), we didn't use the map at all. We made it to all of the checkpoints without it.

At each checkpoint, you are supposed to punch out the corresponding number. Some of the checkpoints went along with the F.S.I. game. This was like the game, Clue. You had to figure out which animal did the crime, with what weapon, and where. Jimmy & I are now official F.S.I. Detectives. haha.

There was a family of 4 who ALL had cards to punch. They were ahead of us for 3 checkpoints, and so we stood there while they punched their cards 16 times.

A. they could have let us go ahead of them. Considering that we had ONE card, between the both of us!

B. did the parents seriously need to punch their own cards, if their 2 kids each had their own cards?

Luckily, we were better at the maze than them, so we were able to make it through the rest of the maze with them in the dust!

The Music Castle

As we were driving to the Corn Maze, we came across this castle. I don't think I have ever noticed it before. Unless I totally forgot about it. Jimmy said he has seen it before. It was so cool! It has a castle no trespassing sign out front. I want to see inside of it so badly!

A Beautiful Fall Day!

It was SUCH an incredible day today! The weather was breathtaking, we couldn't pass it up by staying inside. So we ventured off. The first thing we did was go downtown, walk around & buy some dinner at the Farmer's Market. Then we drove out to the Corn Maze. [pictures coming soon] I wish every Fall day was this beautiful!
